Director to Manchester Mr. J. Fare.
Report re Bury Players Mr. J. Fare reported that Jones had played an excellent
game. He was 5'10" & a two-footed player. Buttery was not seen
to advantage.
Replay Arrangements The Board agreed to Grimsby Town F.C.'s sug-
gested date viz; Jany. 15th & decided that the players should
travel through to Grimsby on the Monday, returning Tuesday.
Stade Rennais F.C. Letter read from this Club asking for a
match at Rennes on Feby. 17th. Decided to inform them
that owing to the uncertainty of our programme, we
could not yet give them a definite answer.
Lord Derby Fund Decided to organise collection for
the furtherance of this Fund, at the Cup tie & Grimsby.
Collections Permission granted Merseyside Fund for the Blind
to collect at our match v Wolverhampton, Feby. 9th but
application from News Chronicle Wireless Fund not entertained.
Roll Top Desk Mr. A. R. Wade agreed to attend Sale of
Mahogany Desks & was given powers to select and purchase
a suitable one for the Office use.
Players on Transfer Letter read from Lincoln City, but no action taken.
Next Meeting Consequent to the result of the Cup Tie
to be held at Exchange Hotel, on Tuesday or Wednesday
the 15th or 16th inst. at 6 pm.
