At a Meeting of the Controlled tenants of houses in Gwladys St. (all
present but Mr. Lewis of No. 42), at Goodison Park on Friday, 16th
November, 1934.
The following resolutions were passed:-
1. It was decided to reject the proposed Agreement submitted by
the Everton Football Club, by 11 voted to 7.
2. They passed a resolution by 16 votes to 2, that they were
willing to accept the terms, if the Everton Football Club can
find them houses (with 3 bedrooms) at a rental of 10-12 shillings
per week at a reasonable distance from their present homes in
the districts which they suggested.
3. The tenants are not agreeable to any fixed date, but would get
out as early as possible when houses can be obtained.
