Reports re Players Secy. reported that he was impressed with
Scottish League v the following Irish players. Fulton (L. B.), Jones
Irish League (C. H.), Brown (O. R.) & Donnelly (I. L.) also Kennaway
(G. K.) & Cumming (L. B.) of Scotland.
F. O'Donnell He also reported that he had made several
(Celtic) enquiries re this player, and the opinion of the
majority was that he was not of standard
required by us.
Noble (St. Bernards) He further reported that he had very
good reports of this inside left.
Doncaster Players Mr. J. Fare reported that he did not fancy
Shaw (R. B.), Dodd (C. F.) was poor, and that
Gladwin (I. R.) was a good player, but small.
Bradshaw (N. B.) He also reported that this goalkeeper had
played a good game.
Shrewsbury Players He further reported that Lloyd (I. R.) & Bates
(R. H.) were very promising players.
Sewell (Workington) Mr. W. Laine reported that he was not impressed
with this O. L.
Ellesmere Port Players Mr. E. Cooper reported that he was not
impressed with Wheeler (C. F.) but that Keeley (I. R.)
was an exceedingly promising player.
Robinson & Still Mr. J. Kelly reported that these 2 halfbacks
(Stockport City) were very useful players.
