Fare reported that Bowden (Derby) did Derby Res. v Oldham Res. not play, but stated that Bird O.L. (Derby) was quite a useful player. Dickinson A. Messrs G. Evans & T. Kelly reported that this C. F. was a very promising player, although somewhat on the slow side. Secy. was instructed to ask the Chester F. C. if they would allow him to train on their ground. Askew (Gateshead) H. Hart gave a very poor report of this goalkeeper. Bryant (Wrexham) Secy. reported that he had received a good report of this player. Mayfield J.
