Scottish League It was agreed that Secy. attend this
v Irish League match at Glasgow on Oct 3rd.
Reports re Players Mr. J. Fare reported that Bowden (Derby) did
Derby Res. v Oldham Res. not play, but stated that Bird O.L. (Derby) was
quite a useful player.
Dickinson A. Messrs G. Evans & T. Kelly reported that this C. F.
was a very promising player, although somewhat
on the slow side. Secy. was instructed to ask
the Chester F. C. if they would allow him to train
on their ground.
Askew (Gateshead) H. Hart gave a very poor report of this
goalkeeper.
Bryant (Wrexham) Secy. reported that he had received a good
report of this player.
Mayfield J. Letter received from the Football League stating
that this player had applied for his registration
to be cancelled. Secy. instructed to give particulars
& reasons why we desired to retain him.
Insurances Secy. was asked to supply each member
of the Board with details of the quotations by
the several Companies.
