Minutes The minutes of meetings held on the 19th June &
28th July last were read & confirmed.
Finance The Bank Balance was reported to be £1435.12.4 Cr.
Cheques were signed for the following:-
W Clarkson Painting Roof G. Rd. Stand &c. £226.17.6
Tysons (Contractors) Ld. Boys Urinal £ 37.10.0
T. H. McIntosh Wages £210. 0.0
Players Transferred The following Transfers of players were approved:-
Birtley R. to Coventry City F. C. at a fee of £500 to be paid
as follows:- £100 down & £400 on 1st October next
Player to be paid £100 as accrued share of benefit.
Turner G. to Bradford City F. C. at a fee of £450
Bill to be accepted for payment on 1st Octr. next & the
Bradford City F. C. to pay costs of discounting same
Player to be paid £116 as accrued share of benefit
McGourty J. to Hamilton Academicals F. C. at a fee
of £500 payable on 1st Septr. next. Player not to
receive any accrued share of benefit.
W. Bocking It was agreed to transfer this player to
Clapton Orient F. C. at a fee of £250 to be paid as
follows £50 down & £20 after each of their 1st 10
home league matches. Player to get £50 as accrued benefit.
Amateurs Signed Secy. reported that the following amateurs had
signed League & C. L. forms for us for the Season
A. Dickinson, J. Balmer, J. Mayfield & T. Allen.
W. Laine It was decided to re-engage this Scout
at same terms as last season viz. £1 per week & Exs.
Hartill (Wolves) Secy. reported that this player
had decided that he would not leave his club
