		Directors was somewhat brighter.

Team Selections		The following teams were selected:-
		v Huddersfield Town (a) 25th inst.
		Sagar, Williams, Jones, Britton, Gee, Thomson, Stein,
		Higham, White, Stevenson & Coulter Res Geldard

		v Sunderland (a) 28th inst.
		Same as above with White for Dean, but left in
		hands of Directors at Huddersfield to decide who plays.

		v Manchester U. Res. (h) 28th inst.
		Deighton, Jackson, Bocking, Mercer, Clark, T. G. Watson,
		Critchley, McGourty, Webster, Dunn & Leyfield. Res. Archer.

		v Marine (Final Lythgoe Cup) May 1st.
		King, Jackson, Bocking, Mercer, Clark, Archer, Critchley,
		Bentham, Higham, Stevenson & Turner.

Directors to H'field	Messrs The Chairman & A. Coffey.

E. Scott		Chairman reported that he had received a letter
		from this goalkeeper asking for an engagement.
		It was left to him to endeavour to fix him up.
		Secy. to enquire of L'pool F. C. if transfer fee was £250.

Reports re Players	Mr. H. Hart reported that was moderate Height
Edmondson (Lancaster) 5-10 weight 11st.

Bell (Tranmere)		Messrs E. Green, H. Hart & Secy. reported that this
		C. F. had only given moderate display.

Lythgoe (Stockport)	They also reported that this player was
		useful, but rather old (not less than 28).

Dodd (Doncaster)	Mr. T. Fleetwood stated that this C. F. had
		played well, his only fault being not getting
		ball under control too quickly.

Whyness (Spennymoor)	Mr. W. Laine gave a very good report of this
		inside forward.

Treanor (Bury)		Mr. F. Lake reported that this player had not done too well.
