Scott Chairman reported that he had received a letter from this goalkeeper asking for an engagement. It was left to him to endeavour to fix him up. Secy. to enquire of L'pool F. C. if transfer fee was £250. Reports re Players Mr. H. Hart reported that was moderate Height Edmondson (Lancaster) 5-10 weight 11st. Bell (Tranmere) Messrs E. Green, H. Hart & Secy. reported that this C. F. had only given moderate display. Lythgoe (Stockport) They also reported that this player was useful, but rather old (not less than 28). Dodd (Doncaster) Mr. T. Fleetwood stated that this C. F. had played well, his only fault being not getting ball under control too quickly. Whyness (Spennymoor) Mr. W. Laine gave a very good report of this inside forward. Treanor (Bury) Mr. F. Lake reported that this player had not done too well.
