Reports re Players Mr. J. Fare reported that this C. F. was most promising
Dodd (Doncaster) and well worth following up.
Bell (Tranmere) Mr. T. Fleetwood stated that this C. F. was very poor
his ball control was bad, but head work was
not bad near goal.
Treanor (Bury) Mr. H. Hart reported this left half was very
promising indeed and well worth watching.
Tour to Teneriffe The Lord Mayor attended the meeting and
endeavoured to get the Board to re-consider this
question. It was agreed to do this & provided we
received a guarantee of £1000 in addition to providing
1st class hotel accommodation whilst there to play 3
matches on the 20th, 24th & 27th May.
Blackpool Hospital} It was decided to accept the invitation to play
Cup} a match at Blackpool for this trophy on Monday
7th prox.
Dolphin F. C.} Application received from this club for release
Dublin} of A. Stevenson to play in a match for them on
23rd inst. was not granted.
Lancs. Senior Cup Agreed that Secy. attend a meeting at Blackburn
on Thurs. next at 3.30 to consider this question.
T. A. White Letter received from F. A. stating that this
player had been reported by the Referee for offence
in match v Wolves Res. on 7th inst. Same had been
brought to the notice of the player.
Bradford City F. C. Letter read from this Club asking for support
of their application for admission to Central League.
Decided to leave same over to C. L. Annual meeting.
Masonic Benevolent} Permission was given for our players Dean &
Institution} Cresswell to be approached to officials as Referee
& Linesman in match for this Institution.
Donation Decided to grant donation of £2.2.0 to the
Fund for Red Triangle Lads Clubs Annual Summer
Camp.
