Critchley Secy. reported reply from W. Bromwich Albion that
this Board would consider the transfer of this player
at next Meeting. No reply from M'bro. F. C.
Reports re Players Mr. E. Green reported that this inside forward was
Match (Arbroath) not up to standard required for 1st Divn. football.
Griffiths (Southport) Mr. T. Kelly stated that this player was about
22, 5'9" & 11th very fast & strong & some what similar
style of player to Turner.
Barnsley v Tranmere Mr. F. Blundell reported that the following were
good players:- Shotton (L. B.), Smith (I. R.) & Blight (C. F.)
& Bell (C. F.) Tranmere but Pennington (I. L.) & Tranmere
was poor.
Reeday (Darwen) Mr. T. Fleetwood reported that this Left Back
was a very promising player indeed & well worth
following up.
Jones (Wrexham) Mr. H. Hart reported that this C. F. was young
& very promising 5'8" & about 19.
Bagley (Bury) He also stated that this O. R. was very disappointing.
Property & Ground} These questions were left in the hands of
Repairs } the Ground Committee to go into & report.
Friendly Matches Application for matches were received from
Prescot Cables, Dublin Bohemians & Crewe P. O. F. C.'s
but same were not entertained.
Yevill & Petters F. C. An application from this Club for the services
of Dean to play in a Benefit match was not granted.
H. Litherland The question of offering engagements as pros.
& W. J. Redfern was considered. It was decided not to offer one
to the former & to defer for the present the case
of the latter.
Drake (Southhampton) Letter read asking if we would make as offer
a fee for the transfer of this player. Secy. was
instructed to ask this club to fix the fee they
required.
R. P. Houston Cup Final The use of the ground for this Final was
