Reports re Players Secy. reported that he was not impressed with
Stockport County F. C. Jonkinson (L. B.) & Hill (I. R.) but that Robinson (R. H.)
& Jones (L. H.) had played very well.
Phillips (Bala) Mr. T. Fleetwood reported that this player
was not good enough for us.
Dearson (Barry) Mr. W. J. Wallace gave a good report of this
player.
Wargreve C. E. } Mr. E. Cooper reported that the following
Players } players were very promising viz. Jones (G. K.), Spencer
(C. H.), King (O. R.).
Marsh (I. C. I.) Mr. H. Hart reported that this centre forward
was not up to standard required.
Insurances The Secy's action in having the All Risks
Policy for Furniture &c. increased from £700 to £900
to cover New Carpets, Piano, Wireless Set &c. was confirmed.
It was also agreed to have the 3rd Party Policy
increased from £2500 to £5000 & the Premium to
be increased from £25 to £35.
Southern Hospital An application from this Hospital for a
collection on the ground was not entertained.
L'pool Hostel for Girls An application for a donation was also
not entertained.
Spanish Tour Letter read from Messrs Thos. Cook & Sons offering
terms for us to play 3 matches in Spain. Decided
not to accept same.
Cunliffes Wages Letter read from Football League agreeing
to increase this players wages to £8 per week.
L'pool Challenge Secy. reported result of the protest herein.
Cup The Council had ordered the match to be replayed
at Earlestown on March 3rd.
L'pool Schools F. A. Application received for use of ground for
the playing of their Final & same was granted.
Women's Service A/c for £6 received for attendance on Mr. H.
