Report re Coleman (Arsenal) Mr. W. C. Cuff stated that this C. F. was a good
player but not worth the price asked. Decided he be
seen on Sat'y next & negotiations left in the hands of
the Directors at the match.
O'Callaghan (Spurs) The Chairman also reported that the Club
were not prepared to part with this I. R.
Coulter (Belfast Celtic) Mr. E. Green said that this player had played
very well at the O. L. position & was big enough in that
position. He was cool, fast & clever, & he recommended him.
Pickering (Shef. Utd.) Mr. A. Coffey gave a good report of this for-
ward who had played o. R. but Mr. McIntosh was not
too impressed. The Club were not prepared to part, however.
Bentham (Wigan) Mr. W. C. Gibbins reported that this player had
done pretty well, but was apt. to mistime the ball.
Malam (Chesterfield) Mr. J. Sharp & the Secy. were not impressed
with this I. R. who was very small. He looked good but
had a poor game.
Beech & Blackshaw Mr. H. Hart stated that this inside left wing was
(Altrincham) only moderate & that the last named was not too good.
White (W'ton Amateurs) Mr. T. Fleetwood reported that this Goalkeeper as
having played very well. He was 19 & 11 st.
Lake (Coventry) Mr. J. Elliott said that this I. R. was a
grafter & he gave him a good report.
Wales v England Mr. F. W. Lake reported well of White (C. H.)
