Minutes The Minutes of Meeting held on the 5th inst.
were read & confirmed.
Finance The Gate v Sheffield United Res. was reported
to be £41.0.3 Tax £6.16.7.
Bank Balance £13,171.18.7 Cr.
Cheques were signed for the following :-
Collector of Customs & Excise Tax £ 6.18.1
Blyth Spartans F.C. on a/c Fee £ 15. 0.0
T. H. McIntosh Wages & Exs. £300. 0.0
Reports of Matches Reports were received of the matches v
Portsmouth 0-0, Army XI 4-0, Sheffield U. Res. 4-2,
New Brighton Res. 0-5.
Dr. & Trainers Report Dr. W. T. Davies & Trainer Cook reported Coggins
& Dean unfit. The latter was progressing
favorably.
Mr. H. Banks Dr. C. S. Baxter reported that this Director
had in his opinion shown slight improvement
& Mr. E. Green stated that Mr. Banks had
thanked the Board through him for their
kind letter of sympathy & it was agreed that
they do all in their power to assist Mr. Banks
during his illness.
Mills (Aberdeen) & Letters received from the Clubs
O'Donnell (Celtic) confirming the verbal statements made to the
Secy. that they were not prepared to transfer
these players at present.
