Director's to Stoke Messrs The Chairman E. Green, J. Sharp & Dr. C. S. Baxter
Higham Secy. reported that this player had been
signed on from Chorley F. C. at a fee of £400.

and this was confirmed.
Reports re Players Mr. E. Green reported that this player had
Drake (Southampton) started off well, but had done nothing afterwards.
He was two vigorous & he could not recommend
him at the fee which was likely to be asked.
Craven (Grimsby) Messrs. A. Coffey & W. C. Gibbins reported that this
I. L. had had very little of the ball. - The former stated
he was disappointing & he could not recommend
him, but the latter stated he would like to see him
again.
Bagley & Eggleston They gave very good reports of these two
(Bury) players.
Heale (Bristol City) Mr. w. J. Wallace gave a good report of this
I. L. but the club had mentioned a fee of £5000
for his transfer.
Mills (Aberdeen) Mr. T. Kelly that this player was effective
followed the play well & scored two goals.
Boyd (Clyde) He also reported that this C. F. had
played well.
O'Donnell & Napier Mr. H. Hart reported that the former had
(better) played rather well. He is a good works heads
& shorts well, but some what slow in making up
his mind. - Looked like being better at centre forward.
The latter had played excellently until
injured after 20 minutes play.
It was decided that Secy. proceed to
negotiate for the transfer of O'Donnell (g) on
the basis of an exchange with McGourty and if
necessary a sum of money in addition.
Hunt (Drumcondra) Mr. J. Fare reported that the former was good but was
Cooke (Shamrock Rovers) injured during the match. - The latter was poor.
