on at a wage of £1 per week. Action confirmed.
Reports re Players Mr E Green reported that this IL had played
Mills (Aberdeen) a correct game & played it well. He was prepared
to support a provisional offer of £1500 being made
for his transfer, but he was of opinion that the
Club were not prepared to part.
F. O'Donnell Mr A. Coffey reported that he was disappointed
(Celtic) with this I.L. who had roamed too much.
He did not appear to be too bright. He gave a good report of Napier.
Martin (Ireland) Mr H Hart stated that this CF was never in
the game v Wales after the first 15 minutes.
Higham (Chorley) Mr J Fare reported that this CF was a most
promising player, dashing & a good shot. He
was 21.5.7½ 10½ st.
Smith (Barnsley) Mr W C Gibbins reported that this IR was a
very good player, but in his opinion he was much
too small.
Mantle (Chester) He also stated that this CF had played well.
Lpool v Blackpool Secy stated that he considered Bush (CF)
of Lpool a very promising C.F. 19.6ft & 12½ st.
