C.L. Fixtures The suggested alterations of fixtures as follows
was confirmed. Blackburn Rovers (h) from Sept. 2nd to
Augt. 31. Derby County (h) from Sept 16th to Jany 1st.
Turnstiles Secy. was instructed to obtain an estimate from
W. T. Ellison &C. for turning numbers back to zero, and
any repairs that may be required.
Training It was decided that the players be called
up for training on Augt. 4th.
Dix (Bristol Rovers) Letter read from this club suggesting they
meet us in London on Monday next. This was
agreed to.
Lanes F.A Meeting Agreed that the Chairman & Mr C Hayes
attend the Annual Meeting at Southport on 6th June
A. S. Virr Secy. reported that the arbitration in the
case of this player & ourselves was to be held
in the Count on Friday 19th June
Bacon (Reading) The deputation to the League Meeting were
asked to make some enquiries about this player.
Scottish Junior Mr J Kerr reported that none of these players
were of standard required by us.
St Helens & Dist An application from this League for a
League donation was not entertained.
Catering The offer of the L'pool City Caterers Ld of £100
for the catering rights on the ground for next
season was accepted.
Ground An estimate from Messrs Rowland & Son for
re-conditioning the cinder surrounds of the
playing pitch amounting to £15 was accepted
& the Chairman's action in ordering a further 50sq
yards of new turfing was approved.
