Roberts (Port Vale)	Secy. reported that with the consent of the
		Chairman & Messrs A. Coffey, J. Sharp & Dr. C. S. Baxter he
		had made an offer of £2000 & accrued share of
		benefit for this player's transfer, but he had
		been informed that arrangements had been made
		by the Port Vale F.C. to transfer him to Millwall Ath.

Burns (Stoke City)	Mr. J. Fare gave a poor report of the former
& Meek (Gateshead) & a moderate one of the latter.

Beasley (Stourbridge)	Mr. T. Kelly gave a very good report of this
		inside left and it was decided that Mr. J. Fare
		proceed to Stourbridge to interview the club as
		to his transfer.

Savage & Lax		Mr. H. Hart gave a good report of the former
(Lincoln City)	but a poor one of the latter. March had not
		played.

Newton (Connah's	Mr. J. Elliott gave a very good report of this
	Quay)	inside left and it was agreed to give him a
		trial against Southport in place of Johnson.

Kelsall & Foulkes	He also gave fair reports of these two
(Connah's Quay)	players.

Stockport Players	The Chairman reported that the Club were
		prepared to transfer Bocking at £2000 with a
		further sum if he played international for England.
		Secy. was instructed to proceed to sign him on &
		also negotiate for Jenkinson. It was decided
		not to negotiate for Boardman or Helliwell.

Morgan (Whiston)	Mr. J. McGill gave a very fair report of this player.

Northern Players	Mr. W. Laine's report of North Eastern players
		was read.

Burns (Stoke)		Mr. L. Weller gave a poor report of this player.
