Swedish Tour The following players were selected to go
on this Tour viz. Coggins, Williams, Cresswell, Common,
McClure, Gee, Thomson, Griffiths, Critchley, Dunn, Dean,
Johnson, Stein, Martin, White & Rigby.
F.A. Canadian Tour Letter read from Mr. P. Bach re McClure. It was
agreed that as he had been selected to go to Sweden
he could not be released for this.
Players Signed Secy. reported that the following players had
re-signed viz. Coggins, Sagar, Williams, Cresswell,
Common, McClure, Gee, Griffiths, Thomson, Chedgzoy,
Bryan, Hart, Lloyd, Britton, Rigby, Johnson, White,
Critchley, Dunn, Stein, Martin & Webster.
Lowe, Parker & Cunliffe had not accepted terms offered.
Decided not to offer Lowe any increase, but to offer
Parker & Cunliffe £4 per week in playing Season instead
of £3.
II League Shield The agreement for this was signed by the
Chairman, Messrs E. Green, A. Coffey & Secy.
Transfer Fees The following fees were fixed viz.
Wilkinson £200, Cook £250 & Towers Free.
G. Cook Mr. W. C. Gibbins & Secy. reported that the Chairman
of the Tranmere Rovers F.C. had stated that they
were prepared to offer this player an engagement
and if at the end of next season, we required
his services, they would transfer him to us if
we would repay them the wages he had received.
It was agreed to accept this offer, but the
amount to be paid to be £200.
F.A. Cup Semi Final Secy. reported that the amount due to us
out of these receipts was £1438.11.11.
League Management It was decided to nominate the retiring
Committee members.
