Deferred Business The following items were deferred to next meeting
viz., Webster & Leyfield, Players to go to Dorking, Players
Benefits, Weatherdair Ltd., and Sporting Trophies Exhibition.
Matches in Paris The offer of the Racing Club de Paris to
play us two matches in Paris on May 14th & 21st next for a
guarantee of £1000, was not entertained.
W. J. Gibbon It was agreed to send this Amateur
home.
E. Storey Sec'y was instructed to obtain M.O.'s
advice regarding the advisability or otherwise of this
employee attending the F.A. Final Tie.
Specification for Painting The Recommendations of the Ground
Stands, & News Goodison Ave Gate Committee regarding the Painting of Bullens Rd
Stand and the construction of new gates and
strengthened wall in Goodison Ave., were wholly agreed upon.
Trafficking in Tickets The Chairman reported the receipt of a
complaint that Gateman H Harper had been offering
Final Tickets at a price above face value. Sec'y was
instructed to go into the matter.
Use of Ground It was decided to allow the use of the
ground for the Melly Cup Final & also to permit the
L'pools Schools F.A. to play two games instead of one
on the evening of Apl 24th.
Newspaper Press Fund An appeal from this fund was not entertained.
Collection Request from the N.U. Railwaymen for permiss-
ion to take a collection at G. Pk during 1933-4 was read.
Sec'y instructed to inform them to put in application next season.
Players on Transfer Lists read from Chelsea & Glenavon F.C.s but
no action taken.
