Reports re Players The Chairman gave the following reports of players
Crystal Pal v Bristol City in this match:-
Dunn (GK) young say 23, 5'9", 11½ st. Agile, Safe & Strong
Parry (LB) 5'11", 11st 23. Good tackler, strong & reliable.
Manders (CF.) say 22, 5'7½ 10 st very live wire, but did not get
too many opportunities. Promising.
All above players belong to Crystal Palace
Cainey (OL Bristol C) 20, 5'7½. 10st. Clever & resourceful,
was starved. See again as he showed good possibilities.
Jolly (Southport) Mr W C Gibbins reported that he was still impressed
with this CH. who did well as a defender.
Davies (Llanidloes) Mr J Fare gave a very poor report of this O.L.
Gosforth v N'cle W.E. W Laine reported that none of the players
in this match were good enough for us.
Foster (Crewe) Mr H Hart reported that this goalkeeper was
inclined to take his eye off the ball, not reliable.
McCarthy (Shamrock Rover) He also gave a good report of this G.K.
Fallon (Dolphins) but a poor one of this O.L.
Jones (Chester Lines) Mr F Blundell gave a good report of this forward.
Bradshaw (GK) & Lowndes CF Mr A R Wade gave a good report of the
New Brighton former & a fairly good report of the latter.

be prepared to release our Welsh Players for this match
at end of May. Decided to inform them that Williams
was injured.
