Goddard (Q.P. Rangers) played a fair game but was 29 years of age.
Barnett (Watford) He gave a good report of this inside forward.
Halifax v Chester Messrs A Coffey & J Fare reported that Chambers
(C.F. Halifax) was injured in first few minutes consequently
couldn't judge his capabilities. They gave a good
report of Craig (C.H.) Halifax.
Taylor (Shrewsbury) Mr H Hart gave a fair reported of this CF who
however was rather on small side. He could not
recommend him.
NE Players Mr W Laine gave a good report of Baines (CF)
& a splendid one of Spooner (OL) both of York City.
He also gave a good report of Coulthard (Stockton).
