Evans were agreed Johnson & Gray (Oldham) that neither of these players were good enough for us. Cowburn (Westhoughton) Mr. Hart reported that this player was of very moderate ability. Chapman (Ulverston I) Mr. Kelly stated that this player was hardly outstanding enough to merit a trial. Aberaman Players Mr. W. J. Wallace reported that none of these were worth consideration with the exception of Hillier (C.H.) 19½ 6ft 12½st, who had played well. He strongly recommended him. Bedlington Backs Mr. W. Laine gave good reports of Henry (LB) 20. 5'10" 12st 5 & John Bridges (RB) 21. 5'8" 12st. Replay v Leicester It was decided that in the event of the arrangement with Liverpool F.C. as to the days for replays, going in our favour, Wednesday, the 18th inst., should be our choice. Matches in Ireland Requests were read from Linfield and and Denmark Shelbourne F.C's for matches in Ireland as was also Messrs Thos. Cooks suggested itinerary for a tour in Denmark. Decided that each of these matters be dealt with at the next meeting.
