Reports re players Mr E Green reported that the former was an
Gray & Johnson attacker but defence not too good, whilst the latter
(Oldham) was a dasher but did not think he played too well.
Mr J Fare reported that he considered the former
was a fairly good player but it was questionable
if he was good enough for 1st League football.
He gave a pretty good report of Johnson.
Lloyd & Crayston Mr E Green reported that the former did
(Bradford) not play but the latter was a good half back.
Wilson (Southend) He also reported that this player did not play.
Cook (Celtic) Mr H Hart reported very well indeed of this
player & stated that he was the best two footed
back he had seen for years (see later Minute fo 245)
Craven (Grimsby) He also reported that this player was
too timid.
Watson (Blyth) Mr J Fare stated that this player had
again played well. He was likely to sign pro
for the Blyth Spartans F.C.
A & H Bridges Mr W Laine gave a fair report of these two
(Bedlington) full backs.
