Reports re Players Mr E Green reported that this player had
Sharp (Tunbridge Wells) played very well in 2nd half, but the class he
was playing in was not too good.
Brennan do He also reported that this was a good
inside forward.
Geldard (Bradford) Messrs A. Coffey & J. Sharp reported that this
O.R. had played very well indeed until injured.
Walker (St Mirren) Mr J Fare reported that this player had
practically played as a third back and was
a good player in that position. He did not
come out to meet approaching forwards as much
as he would have liked to see him.
Clacher (Altrincham) Mr H Hart reported that this inside right
had played fairly decently in that class of
football but was far removed from first class.
Crook (Wolves) Mr J Elliott reported that this OR had
played very well indeed.
Gordon (Rochdale) Mr T Kelly reported very well of the former
Halliday (D'ton) but badly of the latter.
Armes (Chester) Mr T Fleetwood stated that the former
Platt (Tranmere) had played badly, but that the latter
was a very promising right back.
