Reports re Players The Chairman gave a report of this inter
Irish League v English Dv. league match at Belfast & stated that the
English team had not realised anticipations.
Walker (St Mirren) Mr E Green reported that this player had
played a useful game although practically
acting as a third back. He was 24 5.10 & 12st odd
Jones (Burnley) Several of the Directors gave a good report
of this inside left.
Appleby (Southport) Mr J Fare reported that this player had
played a fair game v Accrington. He was about
23 or 24. 5.6 & 10½ st
McCulloch (Accrington) He also gave a good report of this ½ back.
King & Herd (Hamilton) Mr J Fare reported that there were two good
players although the former was not too prominent.
He was very small. He also stated that the
latter was good enough for any team. The
Club however were not prepared to part with
any of their players at present.
Weale (Crewe) He also reported that this player was
not good enough for us.
Burke (Prescot) Mr H Hart reported that this player was
a very promising C.H.B.
