Reports re Players	Mr J. Fare reported that this O. R. was a good
Geldard (Bradford) player, but not quite ready for 1st league football.

Whatmough (do City)	He also reported that this outside right
		was a splendid player, though somewhat on small side.

Taylor (Notts C)	H. Hart reported that this O. R. had played
		very well but was slightly deficient in speed.

Wood (Brightmet U)	Mr McGill gave a favorable report of this
		CH. Decided to ask him to play trial in "A" Team.

Mercer (Ellesmere Pt)	T Fleetwood gave a good report of this L.H.
		whom he stated was 18, 5.9½ & 10½st. Decided to
		offer him a months trial as amateur & if satisfactory
		to sign him on at £5 per week and to give the
		Club a donation of £100.

Burns (Spennymoor)	Mr W Laine reported that this player had
		done much better v Ashington but would be
		better for more experience in N.E League Football.

Halliday (Darlington)	He also gave a fairly good report of this
		player who had played left back, but was
		really a half back 23, 5'.9".

L'pool Council		Mr T Kelly gave a report of the meeting
of Voluntary Aid on Friday last & stated that they had decided
		to form a football league for unemployed.

L'pool Police Aided)	Permission was granted for a collection to be
Clothing Fund)	made for this fund on our ground on 24th inst.

Ellesmere Port FC	Letter read asking for financial assistance.
		Secy instructed to inform them that when Jones
