Reports re players Mr. E. Green gave a good report of this
Napier(Celtic) player who was 19, 11st & of sturdy build. He was a
powerful shot but inclined to overdribble. His
club had no intention whatever of parting with him.
Morgan(Dundee) Mr. J. Fare stated that this was a
very promising player. 20. 5'8". 11st & speedy. He
usually played L.B. but on this occasion R.B.
Liddle(Stoke) Mr. J. Kelly reported that neither of
& Taylor(Notts C.) these O.R's had impressed him very much altho'
Taylor was the younger & more promising but that
Hall (IL) of Notts was very good. He was strong,
clever, 5'7". 11st & 20 last month.
Farrell(Brighton) Mr. J. H. Ford gave a very fair report of this O.R.
Joyce(Rushden Town) Mr. J. W. Gibbins gave a poor report of the former
& Mortimer(North'ton) (C.F.) & a good report of the latter (OR).
Charlton(Gateshead) Mr. W. Laine gave this OR a very poor report.
Milne(Dundee Utd.) Mr. A. Hair reported that this CH was
very useful. He was 24 or 5. 5'8" & about 11 st 8.
Army F.A. Match It was agreed to charge Central League
prices for this match & to entertain both teams to
tea at the North Western Hotel after the match.
Mr. G. Stephenson was appointed referee.
Lancashire F.A. Mr. E. Clayton was nominated for the
vacancy on Division 5 of this Council.
German Tour Letter read confirming the prev-
iously cabled arrangements.
Catholic School Sports Agreed that no objection be made to
the holding of these at Anfield during the afternoon
of our last home match v Portsmouth viz.:- May 7th.
