Mr. C. B. Hayes reported upon the breakdown in the rail-
way arrangements en route to Bury & the Secretary was
instructed to claim for 36/-, the extra cost of transit, from
the Railway Co.
Dr & Trainers Report Dr. W. T. Davies & Trainer Cooke reported all men
fit with the exception of Bryan & Cunliffe.

Reports re Players Mr. J Fare stated that Napier was 1st class 22.
Scottish Players 5'9½", Speedy & had good ball control. He could occupy any
forward position & was of temperamental personality.
Of the Kilmarnock players, Smith (CH) was the best
player on the field, Duncan (IL) was very good, Maxwell (CF)
very promising but Niblo (LB) was poor. Walker of St.
Mirren was very good. He reported the signing of Russell by Rangers.
Brown (Blyth) Mr. T Fleetwood did not fancy this player who
was very moderate & a bad header. He was reputed to be a heavy drinker.
German Tour etc. Sec'y read cable from German F.A. agreeing
to our terms as conveyed to them by Dr. Otto Nerz. Letters
read from Malta, Norway & Sweden asking for matches.
These were not entertained.
Middlesbro' FC Prices were fixed on Martin (£1500) &
Rigby (£1250) in answer to this club's inquiry. Sec'y.
was instructed to accept a deal down to £1000 each.
Pulford Bros. This firm's estimate for attendance to
Amplifiers at all matches was accepted as from Apl. 2nd.
