Reports re Players Mr. A. Coffey reported that on a very bad
Weale (Crewe A.) ground & under adverse conditions, this player was
promising, but he was not yet ready for 1st class
football.
Dix (Bristol Rovers) Mr. J. Fare reported that this player had
played a very good game, was a good player in a
bad team, & in his opinion, ought to be secured.
Wilson (Blyth S) Mr. W. Laine reported that this player (right half) was
very moderate.
McPhail (Clyde) Mr. A. Hair reported very favorably of this R.H.
Kirkwood (Portadown) Mr. Chas. Watson gave a fair report of this
young back who was about 20, & 5'10" or 11".
