Football League		Circular read from Prescot Cables FC stating
		that it was their intention of making application
		to be elected to Div III N.

Hetton Junior FC	Letter read asking for a donation re Birtley.
		Matter was not entertained.

International Trial	Secy reported that on the instructions of the
		Chairman he had offered our ground for this
		match.

G. C. Worrall		It was agreed to offer this player a professional
		engagement at 35/- per week.

Racing Club de France	Letter read asking if we would be prepared
		to play a match with this club in Paris on Feb 9th
		Decided we could not entertain same at present
		but might be prepared to accept an offer for one
		in May.

Crook FC		Letter read stating that they were prepared
		to give us the first refusal of their players
		Dunn (LB), Cook (CF)  & Ferguson (IR).

Linfield FC		Letter read from this club asking us to play
		a match with them on April 18th or May 2nd.
		Decided we could not arrange anything at present
		until we knew what fixture we had to fulfil
		re FA Cup &c We would be prepared to re open
		the matter later on.

F.A. of Wales		Letter read from Mr T. Robbins re selection of
		players for this Association.

Oakes (Port Vale)	Secy reported that the Port Vale FC were now
		prepared to transfer this player at £3500. Decided
		not to negotiate.

Lord Mayor's Supper	Chairman reported an invitation from the Lord
		Mayor inviting our Directors, 14 Players, Trainer &
		Secy to a supper in the Town Hall on Monday
		Jany 4th. Secy was instructed to accept same & thank
		his Lordship for it.
