Jones (Burnley) done nothing to encourage him to recommend
him - was not crafty enough.
Hammond (Fulham) Mr C Hayes gave an excellent report of
this inside forward & highly recommended him.
Keeley (Chester) Dr C. S. Baxter reported that this player was
moderate in 1st half, but had played well in 2nd
half although not too good in heading.
Wigan Boro Mr J Fare gave a good report of Meek (I.R.)
Gateshead & a bad one of Boland (O.L.) of Gateshead also that
Kelhourhy (Wigan) was a very promising player.
London Caledonians Mr H Ford reported that he could not
recommend any of these players.
Mossley v Ashton Mr W C Gibbins that Westoby (Mossley) had
National played centre half & did well, also that Percival
(Ashton) was a very promising inside right.
Sheppard (Congleton) Mr J Elliott reported that this outside left
had played very well.
Little (Spennymoor) Mr W Laine reported that this player was
a very promising full back.
Dale (Kilwinning Mr A Hair gave a good report of this centre
Rangers) forward also spoke well of O'Rowe (OL) of Pollok.
Martin G.H. The application of Chester FC for the transfer
