fixed up at a fee of £250 wages £4.10.0 per week
with £5 signing on Bonus, & this was confirmed.
Walker M. As was also the signing on of this player
for 1 month from 24/9/31 at £2.10.0 per week.
Reports re Players Mr E Green reported that he was not impressed
Auckland (Wombwell) with this player who was simply a good hard joe.
Chester v Gateshead Mr W. C. Gibbins reported that he was not
impressed with any of these players except Cresswell
(Chester) who was fairly good & Boland (Gateshead) very good.
McLuckie & Watson Secy reported that he did not consider the former
(Hamilton Acas) player good enough for us, but stated that he was
fairly well impressed with the latter.
Hamilton (Rangers) Mr J Fare reported that this player had played
a very lackadaisical game & seemed to be disgruntled.
Hunter (Walsall) Secy reported that he did not consider this
player good enough for us.
Ashton National Players Secy & Mr T Kelly reported Percival very promising
Cawley good & Lythgoe poor.
Westoby (Mossley) Mr T Kelly gave a good report & T Fleetwood a

Players for Transfer Applications from Bolton Wanderers re T Griffiths,
Chesterfield FC re Rigby. Bristol City re Martin
& Rigby & Exeter City FC for loan of any player were
not entertained. It was agreed to inform Bristol
City FC that we would be prepared to transfer Chedgzoy.
