Hartill (Wolves) they could not reccommend this centre forward.
Gateshead v Barrow Messrs J. Fare & W. Laine reported unfavorably on
Meek & Turnbull (Gateshead) but gave good reports
of Boland (O. L.) Gateshead & Wilson (I. L.) Barrow.
Northern Players Mr. W. Laine gave favorable reports of Reed
(C. F. Spennymoor), Jackson (L. B. Harrogate) & Thompson
(I. L. Bp. Auckland).
Fleetwood v Chorley Mr. J. McGill reported favorably of Benton (C. H.)
& Ross (C. F.) of Fleetwood.
Wrexham v Chester Mr. J. Fare reported that he did not consider
any of these players good enough for us.
McLuckie (Hamilton) Secy. reported that this player had been
injured & was not likely to play for 7 or 8 weeks.
Rogers (N. B. Baptists) Mr. W. Clarkson gave a fair report of this
goalkeeper.
Foam Baths Secy. reported that the Trainer & himself had
inspected the bath at Bootle & were favorably impressed.
He had asked the firm for particulars & prices.
Ypres Playing Fields Decided to grant a donation of £5.5.0 to
this fund.
K-O v Derby County Decided that same be at 3.15 on 23rd inst.
