Committee Meeting held Monday Feby 22nd 1892

Present		G. Mahon Esq. (in the chair) Messrs Ramsay, Nisbet, Atkinson, Griffiths,
		Clayton, Coates, Davies, Baxter & the Secretary.

Minutes		of last Meeting read & confirmed.

Team	v	Sheffield United: Jardine, Howarth, McLean, Kelso, Holt, Robertson,
		Latta, Geary, Maxwell, Chadwick & Milward.
Team to go 	to Sheffield etc as above with Wyllie, Wharmby & Collins as
		Reserves and Mr. Atkinson to go as rep. the Committee.

Doyle's case	The Secretary read a communication from the Scotch Agents after
		which it was resolved that we accept the offer made therein.

League rep.	Resolved that Mr. Houlding's name be withdrawn from the list
		of those authorised to attend League Meetings.

League Meeting	Resolved that Mr. Currier & the Secretary attend the meeting of
		the League on Friday next in Manchester.

Com. to assist	Resolved that Mr. Griffiths be deputed to assist the
Treasurer	Treasurer on Saturday next.

J. Marsden	Resolved that Dr. Moore be requested to call upon a specialist to
		examine J. Marsden's leg & to get a report as to his possibility
		to play Football again.

Letter to Mr.	Resolved that the Secretary write to Mr. Orrell & thank him for the offer
J. Orrell	of his land & to intimate that owing to our not being able to come to terms
		with Mr. Houlding; that we are unable to either rent or purchase his
		land and that a copy of our offer to Mr. Houlding (Oct. 19th) be sent
		with the letter.
EVENTS
18 Standen Whiteside Linaker was considered for membership of the Club.
39 It was agreed to pay £10.00 to F Geary as a wedding present.
43 It was agreed that the Combination Team should be offered 2 guineas and a gold medal each if they got the championship.
51 Resolved that the silver medals to Everton Team from the previous season should be presented on 24 Oct.
72 Gordon appeared before the Committee and promised to abstain from drink in the future.
74 Call on players “to pay strict and special attention to training … and not to go skating on the ice.”
98 Resolved that a turnstile book be kept.
107 Resolved that 13 medals be purchased @ 24/- from Vaughton’s
112 Fred Geary was asked to look for employment outside a public house
