Committee Meeting held Monday January 4th 1892
Present J. Houlding Esq. (in the chair) Messrs Barclay, Jackson, Clayton,
Nisbet, Atkinson, Ramsay, Griffiths, Williams & the Sec.
Minutes of last Meeting read & confirmed.
A. Chadwick Mr. Clayton reported that this player had failed to turn up
on Saturday last at Stoke, & it was resolved "that the
Secretary admonish him for not doing so, seeing the importance
of the match".
Team v Notts County same as played against Burnley on Saturday
with Messrs Griffiths & Ramsay as rep. the Committee.
Do v Northwich - Jardine, Chadwick, Collins, Wharmby, Jones,
Lochhead, Gordon, Murray, Pinnel, McMillan & Elliott.
L'pool Cup Resolved that the L'pool Senior Cup Competition be left
in the hands of the Everton Team.
Theatrical Match Resolved that the use of the Ground be granted Mr. Houlding
for a Theatrical match, the entire proceeds to be handed over
to the Stanley Hospital.
Benefit Match Resolved that we play a match at Stoke on 1st of
for Stoke Feby (if convenient to them) for the benefit of the Stoke F.C.
our share being bare expenses.
Committeeman Resolved that Mr. Williams be deputed to assist the
to assist Treasurer Treasurer on Saturday next.
