Committee Meeting held Monday Dec 7th 1891

Present		W. E. Barclay Esq. (in the chair) Messrs Williams, Jackson,
		Ramsay, Nisbet, Griffiths, Atkinson, Clayton & the Secretary.

Minutes of last meeting read & confirmed.

Charity Match	Resolved that the use of the Ground be granted on Boxing Day
		morning to Express & Echo.

P. Gordon	Resolved that Gordon be requested to appear before the Com.
		on Monday next re his conduct on Saturday.

Medical Officer	The feeling of the meeting was in favour of having a paid Officer
		but it was decided that Mr. Clayton's motion come up again at
		the next meeting.

Witton Club	Resolved that we give Witton a sum of £12 to play match
Match		at Everton on Tuesday Dec 15th & if gross receipts come to
		£25 or 30 that they have same for benefit of their Club.
		If not a benefit match to be played later on.

Accounts	Passed for payment.
		Long Eaton Rangers Club £5.0.0, Veale 3/6.

Notices to	Resolved that we have Posters & handbills printed calling attention
Spectators	to "League" request re the treatment of Referees that Mr. Barclay
		& the Secretary see to the same.

Finance Com.	Resolved that the Finance Committee meet on Wednesday at 7 P.M.

Com. to assist	Resolved that Mr. Howarth be deputed to assist Treasurer
Treasurer	at Gate etc. on Saturday next.
EVENTS
18 Standen Whiteside Linaker was considered for membership of the Club.
39 It was agreed to pay £10.00 to F Geary as a wedding present.
43 It was agreed that the Combination Team should be offered 2 guineas and a gold medal each if they got the championship.
51 Resolved that the silver medals to Everton Team from the previous season should be presented on 24 Oct.
72 Gordon appeared before the Committee and promised to abstain from drink in the future.
74 Call on players “to pay strict and special attention to training … and not to go skating on the ice.”
98 Resolved that a turnstile book be kept.
107 Resolved that 13 medals be purchased @ 24/- from Vaughton’s
112 Fred Geary was asked to look for employment outside a public house
