Special Committee Meeting held Thursday Sep 17th 1891

Present		W. E. Barclay Esq. (in the chair) Messrs Coates, Ramsay, Howarth,
		Nisbet, Jackson, Clayton, Atkinson, Williams, Dr. Baxter & the Sec.

		Several members spoke on the question of carrying into effect
		the resolution passed at the special Meeting of the members on
		Tuesday night & after considerable discussion etc. it was
		"Resolved that a deputation consisting of Messrs Atkinson,
		Nisbet, Jackson, Coates & Dr. Baxter wait upon Mr. J. Orrel
		& ascertain from him the facts re his land & to see if
		he would be willing to let us a portion & on what terms
		& that the deputation report to the next meeting the result of
		their interview.

Committee Meeting held Monday Sep 21st 1891

Present		W. E. Barclay Esq. (in the chair) Messrs Currier, Coates, Ramsay,
		Williams, Atkinson, Nisbet, Howarth, Clayton, Stockton, Jackson,
		Dr. Baxter & the Secretary.

Minutes		of previous Meeting read & confirmed.

Motion by Mr. Nisbet to rescind the resolution on the books authorising the club
re Press Expenses to pay expenses of Press representatives at away League Matches
		was negatived & it was resolved that we continue on old
		resolution to D. Post, Mercury, Currier & Mr. Aicken to the end of
		this Season.
EVENTS
18 Standen Whiteside Linaker was considered for membership of the Club.
39 It was agreed to pay £10.00 to F Geary as a wedding present.
43 It was agreed that the Combination Team should be offered 2 guineas and a gold medal each if they got the championship.
51 Resolved that the silver medals to Everton Team from the previous season should be presented on 24 Oct.
72 Gordon appeared before the Committee and promised to abstain from drink in the future.
74 Call on players “to pay strict and special attention to training … and not to go skating on the ice.”
98 Resolved that a turnstile book be kept.
107 Resolved that 13 medals be purchased @ 24/- from Vaughton’s
112 Fred Geary was asked to look for employment outside a public house
