Committee Meeting held Tuesday Sepr 1st 1891

Present		J. Houlding Esq. (in the chair) Messrs Howarth, Coates, Ramsay, Nisbet,
		Clayton, Atkinson. The Secretary being away in London.

Minutes		of last two Meetings read & confirmed.

J. Holt		The consideration of this player not turning up to play against Bootle
		to remain over until next Meeting.

Motion by 	Mr. Nisbet re Committee going away with the team was negatived.

Motion by 	Mr. Wilson re travelling expenses to stand over until next week.

Motion by	Mr. Howarth to stand over for a month.

S. Orme		Resolved that Orme be paid 10/- per week as trainer for
		the Everton Team.

Training	Resolved that Waugh have the men out for training every day this
		week except Saturday.

Team	v	West Bromwich - Jardine, Marsden, McLean, Kelso, Holt, Parry, Latta,
		Geary, Thomson, Chadwick & Milward with Campbell & Gordon Reserves
		& Messrs Atkinson & Howarth to go with team.
	v	Chirk - Williams, Chadwick, Collins, Kirkwood, Jones, Robertson,
		Lochhead, Wyllie, Murray, McMillan & Elliott.
	v	Darwen same as against W.B.A. with power to change Collins
		for McLean.

EVENTS
18 Standen Whiteside Linaker was considered for membership of the Club.
39 It was agreed to pay £10.00 to F Geary as a wedding present.
43 It was agreed that the Combination Team should be offered 2 guineas and a gold medal each if they got the championship.
51 Resolved that the silver medals to Everton Team from the previous season should be presented on 24 Oct.
72 Gordon appeared before the Committee and promised to abstain from drink in the future.
74 Call on players “to pay strict and special attention to training … and not to go skating on the ice.”
98 Resolved that a turnstile book be kept.
107 Resolved that 13 medals be purchased @ 24/- from Vaughton’s
112 Fred Geary was asked to look for employment outside a public house
