Committee Meeting held Tuesday May 31st 1892

Present		G. Mahon Esq. (in the chair) Messrs Leyland, Atkinson, Coates,
		Clayton, Griffiths, Davies, Jackson, Dr. Baxter & the Sec.

Minutes		of last meeting read & confirmed.

New Players	G. Bell & Hamilton: Mr. Latta reported that Bell would
		consider the matter & write him. Hamilton was not seen
		McKeown. Resolved that we approved this player with the
		Rovers consent.

Holt		The application from S. S. City of New York for the club to allow
		Holt to play for them in New York. Resolved that as association
		Rules prohibit such arrangements, we regret permission cannot
		be granted.

F. Geary	Resolved that Messrs Atkinson & Dr. Baxter together with
		Mr. Savage see Geary re his position.

J. Marsden	Resolved that the letter re this player lie on the Table.

Baths for	Resolved that we pay a deposit to Baths Supt. at Pier Head
Players		instead of purchasing Tickets as hereto fore. Each player having
		a Bath to sign his name at the Baths.

Company		Resolved that Papers be prepared at once for formation
Scheme		of Co. the whole of the Committee to sign as Directors.

Permit from	Resolved that the Sec. communicate with Mr. Alcock
E. Association	& get permission to form Club into Limited Co.
EVENTS
18 Standen Whiteside Linaker was considered for membership of the Club.
39 It was agreed to pay £10.00 to F Geary as a wedding present.
43 It was agreed that the Combination Team should be offered 2 guineas and a gold medal each if they got the championship.
51 Resolved that the silver medals to Everton Team from the previous season should be presented on 24 Oct.
72 Gordon appeared before the Committee and promised to abstain from drink in the future.
74 Call on players “to pay strict and special attention to training … and not to go skating on the ice.”
98 Resolved that a turnstile book be kept.
107 Resolved that 13 medals be purchased @ 24/- from Vaughton’s
112 Fred Geary was asked to look for employment outside a public house
