Banks & W. C. Gibbins gave a very good report pf this outside right. Griffiths (Port Vale) Messrs A. Coffey & Secy. reported that on his form on Sat. last this player was not good enough. Rowley (S'hampton) Chairman reported he was making enquiries as to the possibility of the club releasing this player. Bradshaw (Bury) Secy. was instructed to make similar enquiries as to this player. Rochdale v Stockport Mr. J. Fare reported that Oliver & Brown (Rochdale) were not good enough, but he spoke very favorably of Lynch (G.K. Rochdale) & Gee (C.H. of Stockport C.).
