Cape (Carlisle U.)	Mr. E. Green gave a fair report of this player
		& suggested he be seen again.

Hammond & Temple	Mr. J. Sharp reported that the former was
(Fulham)	very promising, but hardly up to 1st League Standard.
		He did not consider the latter good enough.

Miles (Walford)		Mr. A. Coffey reported that he considered
		this C.H.B. was the makings of a good player.

Williamson (Kilmarnock)	Mr. J. Bell gave another poor report of
		this player.

Thomson (Dundee)	Mr. J. Weir gave a fairly good report
		of his left half back.

McAllister (Newmilns)	The Chairman & Mr. J. Weir reported the
		arrangements they had made re this player.

Rochdale v Brighton	Mr. T. Fleetwood reported that he did not
		consider Smedley (N. B.) & Milson (Rochdale) good
		enough, but Lewis (Rochdale) was good but rather
		on small side & Oliver & Roberts (Rochdale) were good.

Bradford (Walsall)	Mr. J. McGill gave a very good report
		of this player.

Griffiths (Port Vale)	Mr. W. Laine gave a good report of this
		outside right.

Rowley (Southampton)	Mr. J. Elliott gave an excellent report of
		this forward.

Briggs (B'gham)		Letter read asking us to make an offer.
		Decided not to make one at present.

Devine (Burnley)	Chairman reported that Burnley F.C. had
		offered this player at £7000 and his action in
		stating we were not interested at that figure was confirmed.
