Cunliffe (Blackburn) Mr. J. McGill gave good reports of these Briggs (B'gham) two players. Fielding (Stockport) Secy. reported that he was not impressed with this player on his display on Sat last. Scottish Players Mr. J. Weir reported that Williamson (Kilmarnock) had not restarted playing after his accident, but gave a very good report of Ballantyne (Partick Thistle). Washington Player Mr. W. Laine gave a favorable report of Vincent (C.H.B.) T. Edwards Secy. reported that this gentleman had died, and that he had written to the widow & also ordered a wreath. This was confirmed.
