v Aston Villa Res. (a) 5th inst.
Sagar, Common, W. O'Donnell, Kelly, Griffiths,
Bryan, Critchley, Webster, Attwood, Easton &
Lewis. Res. French
v Blackpool (Lancs. Cup) 7th inst.
Davies, Common, W. O'Donnell, Robson, Griffiths,
White T., Ritchie, Weldon, Wilkinson, Martin,
& Troup. Res. Hart.
Johnson (M/C City) It was reported that the clubs were
Griffiths (Port Vale) not prepared to part with these players at present.
Decided that Chairman enquire from Chairman of Port Vale re Griffith.
Fielding (Stockport) Letter read that club would consider an
offer for this player & Secy. was deputed to go
to Stockport on Saturday & find out price required.
Easton Secy. reported that Bury F.C. were not
prepared to negotiate for this players transfer.
