Clarke (3rd Lanark) Mr. J. Fare gave another good report
of this half back.
Fielding (Stockport) Mr. T. Fleetwood gave an excellent report
of this player.
Halsall (Bootle Celtic) Mr. J. McGill reported that this half
back was very promising.
Worrall & Hasson Mr. W. C. Gibbins reported that he was
(Oldham Ath.) not impressed with these two players.
Barkass (Bradford C.) Mr. T. Kelly reported unfavorably of
this half back.
Gibson (Sheffield U.) Mr. J. Elliott gave poor reports of these
Stabbs (Northwich) two players.
Eden & Wrightson (Dton) But very favorable reports of these
two.
New Players It was decided to open negotiations
with Stockport County re Fielding.
Clarke (3rd Lanark) Mr. E. Green was deputed to watch this player
& if satisfied to negotiate for his transfer
up to £1500.
It was decided to enter into negotiations
with the M/C City F.C. for the transfer of
Johnson up to £5000.
