Reports re Players Mr. J. Fare gave a moderate report of
Stevens & Johnstone these two players.
Carlisle v Stockport Messrs T. Fleetwood & J. Weir gave unfavourable
reports of the Carlisle players, but a good
report of Fielding (O.L. Stockport).
Atherton v Clitheroe Mr. J. McGill gave a fair report of
Roberts & Armstrong (Atherton) & Hoodman & Cooper (Clitheroe).
Clarke (3rd Lanark) Mr. J. Fare gave an excellent report of this halfback.
Starling (Chester) Mr. J. Elliott reported very favourably of
this goalkeeper.
