McNab (Dundee) player did not play up to his usual form.
Porter & Worrall Messrs A. Coffey & J. Sharp reported that they
(Oldham Ath) were not impressed with the former, but that
the latter was good.
Waterfield & Jenkins Messrs C. Hayes & Secy. gave an excellent report of
(Burnley) the former & a poor one of the latter. The
Chairman was empowered to make an offer of
£3000 for Waterfield.
Wright (Torquay) Mr J Fare reported that this player was
not good enough for us.
Luton v Walsall Mr H Hart gave excellent reports of Kingham
(FB) & Clarke (R.H) of Luton & a fairly good report
of Archer (LH) of Walsall.
Lawrence (Swansea) Mr W J Wallace gave a poor report of this
fullback.

consider any of these players good enough
