Cooper (Halifax) stating he was both fast & had good ball control.

Newcombe (Millwall)	Mr. W. C. Gibbins reported that this man was a
		good player but somewhat slow in tackling.

Hough (N. Brighton)	Dr C. S. Baxter reported that on this players
		display on the heavy ground he could not recommend
		him. Letter read from Mr. B. Pelham who stated he
		was a very good  player.

Woolaghan (LH) Ridley The Secretary gave good reports of these
& Carruthers (F) Workington 3 players whom he had seen twice in replayed
		cup ties.

Bromage (Wellington)	Secy gave a poor report of the former
Edwards (Brierley Hill) and stated that the latter was promising.

Bott (Doncaster)	Mr. J. Fare reported that he was not too
		satisfied with the form of this player.

Murphy (Woodville)	Mr. McGill gave a good report of this
		goalkeeper. Decided to try & obtain his services
		for A team.

Thomas (Hugton Recs.)	Mr. J. Kelly reported that he considered this
		forward too light for us at present.

Taylor (Gateshead)	Mr. W. Laine again gave a good report of
		this O. L.

Dix (Bristol Rovers)	The Chairman reported his interview with
		a Director & the Manager of the club & that he
		had offered to add to our offer the amount to
		which the player would be entitled. They stated
		they would report to their Board & write us.
