Robson & McClure Secy. reported that Sheffield Wed. F.C. had
asked if we were prepared to part with these 2 players.
Decided not to part with latter, but to adhere to
decision come to at last meeting re Robson.
O'Donnell Secy. reported that N'cle United F.C. had
again enquired about this player & suggesting
an exchange. They had been informed that the
fee required was £4000.
Donation £2.2.0 was granted to Bootle Schools Footwear fund.
Irish F.A. Letter read from this Assocn. that all
their players were insured for International Matches.
Lancashire F.A. Letter read stating that question of filling
vacancy on Council was left over until next Meeting.
Bristol Rovers F.C. Letter read from Club that Dix was not
desirous of leaving Bristol. Decided that Secy.
try & fix an appointment for our Chairman to
meet them.
League Minutes These for last meeting read. Special attention being
called to that referring to non liability of Football League
Mutual Insurance for players of League clubs playing
for other Countries.
Ellesmere Port Band Agreed to allow this band to play at our
match v Wolves on Nov. 8th.
