Players Signed The engagements of the following players were confirmed :- J. N. Cunliffe & R. Parker at £1 per week with payment of railway fares, with a donation of £10 to Adlington F. C. C. Britton (Bristol Rovers) at a fee of £1600 less half of fee for Attwood. Wages at £6 & £7 with £1 extra when playing in 1st Team. Henry Lowe (Southport) at a fee of £1000, Wages £4 & £5 with £1 extra when playing in 1st Team. Dix (Bristol) Secy. reported that he had negotiated with Bristol Rovers F. C. for transfer of this player at a fee of £1600 less half share of Attwood's fee but the players parents were not prepared to let him leave Bristol at present. Gee (Stockport) The Chairman & Secy. reported that the Stockport County F. C. were not prepared to negotiate for this players transfer until January next. Weldon A. Secy. reported that Hull City F. C. were prepared to pay £1000 for this players transfer as follows :- £500 Cash & £500 on or before 31st Oct. next. This was accepted. Hulme (Arsenal) Secy. reported that the clubs might be prepared Hammond (Fulham) to part with these players, but it was decided not to negotiate at present. Davies & Kelly Enquiries were reported from M/c United & Millwall Ath. for the former & from Portsmouth for the latter. Kennedy Secy. reported that this player had now signed on for Tranmere Rovers.
