Reports re Players Mr. E. Green reported that although he liked
Spencer (Stoke City) this player's style, he could not recommend him,
but that he should be kept in mind.
Chesterfield & Mr. H. Hart reported that Hunt was promising
Stockport Players but he thought he would be better at C. F.
Cousins (Chesterfield) was a hard worker.
Gee (Stockport) played a very good game but tired
towards the end & Fielding (Stockport) whilst
unorthodox was good.
Mr. J. Fare also reported that Hunt was very
promising.
Davies & Lloyd Mr. J. Fare also gave a very good report
(Bradford) of the former, but a moderate report of the latter,
Hartill (Wolves) and that Hartill was speedy, well set up & useful.
Adams (Tranmere) Messrs W. C. Gibbins & J. Fare reported that this
was a very promising player.
Holmes (Prescot) Mr. J. Elliott gave a good report of this C. H.
Lowe (Southport) Mr. T. Fleetwood gave a very good report
of this left back.
Wallbanks (Barnsley) Mr. Kelly reported that as the Barnsley team
was overplayed he could not judge this player's ability.
O'Neil (Runcorn) Mr. J. McGill gave a good report of this C. F.
Wilson (Hamilton) Messrs Weir & J. Bill gave fair reports of
this player.
Dean It was decided to offer this player an
engagement for next Season, but not to guarantee
him a benefit.
Transfer List It was decided to put the following
players on Transfer List viz. Kennedy £250,
Hewitt (Free), French £100.
Dunn J. Wire received from Heart of Midlothian F.C.
